This Bison fondue recipe is delicious and easy to prepare.

The fondue dip recipes you choose do not need to be very complicated, but you should offer a selection of at least three dipping sauces to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.
Recipe 1 – Fondue Oil
Ingredients
- 454 g bison bison cube meat
- Cooking oil (Use an oil that such as peanut oil, canola oil or sunflower oil)
- Cooking Method
- Heat oil in a fondue pot, but do not let smoke. Using your fondue stick, dip the meat in the oil for about 30 seconds, then dip
- your meat into the various sauces.

Recipe 2 – Fondue Broth
Fondue broth can be bought ready made in your grocery store.
Instructions to make your own broth:
Ingredients
- 900 ml carton of beef broth
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tbs soy sauce
- 2 green onions sliced
- Bison cubes cut small and thin
Cooking Method
Bring the broth to a boil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Stir in the remaining
ingredients except for the meat. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Remove and
transfer to a fondue pot.
Dip slices of the bison meat into the hot broth mixture and cook about 30 seconds
or desired doneness. Pour the broth into your fondue pot
Roll small pieces of the bison meat onto your fondue fork and cook for about 30 seconds.
Dipping Sauces
The most fun in fondue is dipping your meat in a variety of delicious sauces.
Prepare at least 3 sauces for your fondue party.
Creamy mustard dip
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tbs. (45 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup (65 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- Heat the butter in a small pot with the rest of the ingredients.
- Serve warm
Wasabi dip
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbs. (15 ml) green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp. (10 ml) prepared wasabi
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mix all the ingredients and enjoy!
Chili Sauce
- 6 tbs. (90 ml) mayonnaise
- 3 tbs. (30 ml) sour cream
- 1 tbs. (15 ml) ketchup or tomato sauce
- 1 tbs. (15 ml) crashed child pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mix all the ingredients and serve!
Garlic lemon dip
- 1 ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 ½ tbs. (20 ml) lemon juice
- ½ tsp. (2 ml) tobacco sauce
- Mix all ingredients (keep refrigerated until needed).
Garlic butter
- Prepared stick of garlic butter melted
- 1 stick of unsalted butter melted
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbs. chives
- Mix ingredients and dip!
