Northfork Bison has been in the bison meat business since 1997, driven to provide the marketplace with a healthy, natural, and sustainable alternative to beef. For us, this is more than a business: it’s a commitment to a healthier lifestyle that is in harmony with the environment and animal wellbeing. We are not a middle-man or a re-seller.
Northfork Bison has a hand in every aspect of the business, from raising the animals to processing and distribution. In the early years, we and a few others in the industry worked very hard to help demystify bison meat and educate consumers about its benefits. We have come a long way since then.No shortcuts! We prefer the longer, well-proven path to quality.
We control every aspect of the supply chain and leave nothing to chance, from maintaining close relationships with our ranchers, to using processing methods designed for the unsurpassed product quality and safety.
